This work is a take on 'the march of progress', an iconic illustration of human evolution from ape to homo (MAN) sapiens created by Rudolph Zallinger in 1965, published in a book titled 'Early Man'. The illustration fits the title perfectly by representing only the stages of evolution from apes to man, with no woman version in sight. The evolution process of men and women might have had a different path in relation to how each develops different anatomical parts of the body and therefore provides a room for this work to re-fictionalize and re-imagine the whole evolution process.
